a reader who became one of our home owners.
I'm truly thankful that we have a social media platform (blogger) like this to extend out to all my readers out there! And feedback from our home owners on how else we could improve our blog entries too.

Many shared with me that they enjoy reading my reno blog updates because they are often curious to know how's the progress of a particular reno and most of them are all waiting anxiously to see the final photos.

There are others who have told me that they have preferred a blog rather to a website per se. Because it gave them the security that we are actually in business and most importantly is that we are "alive" and not "dead".

so! after hearing to some of my home owners, I always try to make an effort to blog now and then, whenever I have the capacity and time. Like now, I'm actually baby wearing Jade (sleeping in my arms) and blogging at the same time!

haha...talk about multi-tasking.
well I suppose as long as there are readers like you out there who appreciates the time and effort that I make, it is worth the while!

Reno@608BP - YAY!

we finally managed to secure a date for the home photoshoot.

I can't put my finger down to the styling but it's somewhat in between minimalist, a bit of MUJI (Japanese?) and scandi even! because of the wood finishes and lots of bright daylight streaming into the interiors. 

The homeowner has put in day lourve blinds for all the rooms as you can see in this photo above which depicts the intensity of daylight streaming into the bedroom. Other parts of the home which we really like was the herringbone floor pattern, the grey wall and floor tiles in the bathroom that eludes a sombre yet peaceful look, the utilitarian and functional kitchen where we injected a wooden ledge at the backsplash for an added detail.

Home owner hasn't really shifted in yet and still hasn't found the time for home shopping...

so the living is minimally done up but it's looking pretty modern-styled. What it needs now is probably a jute rug or grey carpet plus some oversized cacti plants at the corner.

We usually recommend to go for either daylight or white lights for kitchen as you will need bright lighting when it comes to dealing with food preparation. White lights are the brightest, followed by daylight and warm lights.

Many home owners find that white lights are too harsh and sterile, so daylight will be the in between to go for when it comes to work task areas like kitchen, study or even yard.

Areas like living and dining where you are relaxing and chilling, you can opt for softer options like warm and daylights.

if you can't do a decision, have both!
we have homes which alternate the tracklight bulbs for warm and daylights.
or
we also have homes that does cove lights in daylight and recessed downlights in warm lights.
