Reno@Skywood - Moving vertically tv rack!
Hello!!
it's me again. Just wanted to show everyone this really cool thing which the master of the house has bought online for this master tv. When he first showed it to us, we really have no idea where or how to do it. It's really the mechanism that needs to be purchased. It's a moving tv rack that slides upwards and downwards. Albeit slow, but it's still quite cool huh!
It's really a problem solver for those who believe in fengshui and that the tv cannot face the bed directly and not wanting to cover the tv every night before bedtime. This can be done with a remote control when you are lying on your bed!

Reno@Skywoods - Platform bed
For those who has purchased a unit that has very high ceiling space (at least 3.6m), you can create a platform bed in timber finish in your children's room. This not only utilize the high volume space but maximise the floor given area. What you can do is to place the sleeping area on a platform while the study area can be located at the floor.
The couple has chosen a very light woody theme to go with the pink hues in their daughter's room.
Maximising space - steps going up to the sleeping platform areas are designed as storage areas like mini wardrobe, for toys, books and all sorts of stationery. And plus it's low height, makes it kids friendly too where they can reach independently for their own items.
Again brilliant idea by the homeowners in customising the storage area to suit their daughter's daily needs.

Added light strips to the steps for visibility at night
instead of a glass (for safety of children, best not to recommend large portions of glass) or metal railing for the platform, what we have done is a bookshelf which can be used to store many children's books which the missus of the house has specifically requested for. She told us that her daughter loves reading books and has many books to keep. The couple has chosen a very light woody theme to go with the pink hues in their daughter's room.

Master headboard fabric bought by homeowners, finished in shimmering suede.
Reminds me of pink pearls in the sea.
Reno@Skywoods - Stainless steel tray insert in mirror cabinet
hello!
this is a great idea by the home owners if you want to drip dry your cups and toothbrush in the top vanity cupboard.
we had another project which has exactly the same idea but it was for the bottom cabinet in the bathroom! That homeowner wanted to dry her pails and baby wash tubs in the bottom cabinet, hence the base was finished in a stainless steel tray.

Reno@Skywoods - Carpentry starting
Sorry for the lack of updates cos the late time hubs was here to go through the electrician and carpentry, he didn't have time to take any photos as the workers were all leaving and he didn't have the key to the place.
Now we are back here again to look at how the carpentry has been progressing.
