Battery Operated Light tubes from IKEA

here's something which I bought from IKEA which I thought was pretty nifty!
it's a battery operated light tube that needs no wiring = no electrician needed.
and it can flip up or down to shine the light.
small and slim.
super user friendly.
Best of all, easy to clasp onto a shelf for deep areas in the cupboards where i have no lights.

Vase them!

Remember the heliconias which i salvaged from the National Stadium before the big demolition?
Well it's thriving quite well in my garden and i've decided to get a big vase to place them proudly on my kitchen counter top!

now i can have fresh plants in the house without going to the market/florist! It's so easy just getting it from the garden!!

just wanted to write a little about my sedum plant which started off so small and now it has grown so much!!! There is a plastic figurine inside the plant pot too which was quite visible but now can you find it??? hahaha....

They are so adorable and colourful. Definitely will bring much interest to the table before you serve your first dish.

yes it's been 2 weeks since our housewarming and it's time to change our sheets! and Yellow is currently our fave colour and I've been so eager to change into this one as i have it stored in my cupboard for almost half a year now!!!
I don't know about how one feels about clean new sheets but i feel very invigorating when i see pretty sheets like these and makes me want to jump into bed and rub my legs against them!

They come in many different floral and abstract patterns to suit every home's style and needs. Made of cardboard material, it's very eco-friendly and a great piece to deck the walls.
Plus it's quite fun putting the pieces together! Hubs was wondering did i buy him a jigsaw puzzle!!! hahaha...

1) i have no place to put my catered food except the open to sky timber deck
2) should it rain, all the food will be wet
3) should it rain, all my friends will be upset with wet food
4) i hope the leaves from the tree will not fall into the food
