Reno@CCK Maisonette - Jules playing hide and seek

Jules thinks that the cupboards are really fun!!!

Reno@CCK Maisonette - quick updates

Just attended a close friend of mine's son's birthday party before we rushed down to CCK Maisonette. Today we are discussing
1) how to mount the ceiling pendant lights for the staircase void area
2) how the countertop quartz going to join, where will the joint line be
3) whether to have the marble skirting continue at the staircase cupboard area

item (1) took the longest because of the difficulty in mounting the ceiling lights, lucky thing was previously there was an existing electrical wiring at the high ceiling. So the electrician is going to connect from that wire. But how many, which kind of lights, numbers and budget remains a question.

While hubs is talking to the couple and contractor, i quickly snapped some photos for record. The painting is completed, both bathrooms' carpentry have been installed, the electrical awning at the balcony was installed too, though it was in a wrap for protection. Temporary staging is done at the balcony for the painting works.

we are almost finishing up here! Move in date is feb!!!

Reno@Yishun Riverwalk - Master wardrobe sensor lights

Our reno at Yishun Riverwalk has reached its final league of the reno journey! This post is just to showcase the master wardrobe in detail. For the last compartment of the wardrobe, there's the dressing table where we have designed for a backlit behind the mirror.
Here's a close up on the backlit mirror and small accessory drawer

For other parts of the wardrobe, we are using the IKEA sensor lights which will turn on when the doors are slide open.
Here's a close up on the LED lights!

very zakka.

Reno@Ancilla BTO - KITCHEN!

For the kitchen, we kept all the floor and wall tiles, bifold door and lourve windows. The whole works to keep the reno budget low. The kitchen countertop is finished in a woody looking top with white top and bottom cabinets.

Reno@Ancilla BTO - Final photos of the Master bedroom

The bedframe and bedside tables are from IKEA and the missus did a really good job in choosing the wardrobe and study table laminate that matches very well with the IKEA furniture!
see the sides of the wardrobe in wood laminate?
Looks very similar to the ikea furniture! We wanted to add more wood to the built in wardrobe and study table but the missus really likes white alot, so much more than us!
White baywindow storage with beige seating cushions and white study table. Only the corner open shelf in finished in the wood laminate.
close up on the open shelf.
The corner was purposefully chamfered to avoid sharp corners.
