Stirling HDB Terrace - #250 Kartell Ghost chairs
Hi! it's us again and here is a series of us with our huge kartell carton box before we sent it for recycling. sob sob. Yes we are throwing it away. Or rather to put it in a better way, we are sending it to a greener reincarnation. whatever. reuse.recycle and reduce.
and as it is most likely that we wouldn't be buying anymore such big items from Kartell... here's our way of saying goodbye.
thanks for keeping our chairs from dust. hope the garang guni takes good care of you.

We really love this clock cos you can tell time from really far away + date and day!!! All at one shot. Now we are searching for something similar for our alarm clock too.
ritey...so many pretty clocks to buy!!! and so little wall space left plus i have so many photo frames which i wanna hang on the wall too!!! And i also want alot of wall storage shelvings too!! I WANT EVERYTHING!!!
hahahahah.

Stirling HDB Terrace - #240 Herbie
ONE MONTH of babysitting my herbies
here's my horrible experience..only the mint plant survived.
Anyway, mum told me not to buy anymore plants before i officially shift in. She said that since i do not stay there often, it's very likely that i have no time to care for them too...well she's right. So i shall stay clear of plants for a while now...
Care for mint
Lots of sunlight + water (and pruning in my case!) Still surviving!!!!
Care for Rosemary
Rosemary should be grown in full sun according to online sources.(for my case, i think it works better in a sheltered area with sunlight like on a window sill or a balcony). When i put it in my yard, open to sky without shelter, it started to dry up even though i water it once a day. And I thought perhaps I over-watered it. Eventually I think it wasn't over-watered but too heated up from our singapore sunny and hot weather! It dead eventually. SOBSOB.
Care for Thyme
This one is a weirdo. I think it doesn't require full sunlight at all and do not over-water it. Let the soil dry before you water it again. It prefers well drained soil. And don't let it dry too long without water too! It's damn difficult.
Verdict: dead.dried.withered.
COD: heat (think CSI and you will know what COD stands for!)

Stirling HDB Terrace - #238 Zanotta Alfa Sofa
As we have asked the furniture store to hold on the delivery for almost half a year, they called up one day and said that they cannot hold it for us any longer. At that time, our place was really so not ready but not everything goes smoothly. So they delivered the sofa but couldn't fix it up for us as our place is too messy. So now, we have to do it on our own. Fortunately, it's pretty easy with 2 men in the house, and in no time, our sofa was up standing on its own 2 feet!
first we got to turn the sofa on its belly, screw on both its feet, one on the left and one on the right.
use of alan key to screw it on tightly, you don't want to plonk yourself comfortable and soon it goes a-poot right?
Now we need to align the sofa to face the tv console and guess who is the first to sit on our sofa??? Ritey it's spongebob kitty!

Stirling HDB Terrace - #237 Zanotta Alfa Sofa
UHU....
we just couldn't wait any longer!!! even though we haven't finished 100% of our reno works, we have decided to remove the corrugated board from our sofa and sneak a peek at it. It's been SOOOO long and we are so afraid that mould might be growing like happy mushrooms on our sofa. Since we had a bad experience with our side table who had white mould growing on its underside in our guest room, it's time to remove the covers!
underside of our sofa, bearing its name.
phew. sigh of relief. it is still in good condition everyone. YEAH.
