Reno@TY III Maisonette | Blue and White Kitchen

What's great about owning a maisonette is that there is chance and opportunity for a dry kitchen and a wet kitchen separation. The dry kitchen here is designed as a kitchen penisula with its own dedicated sink and bottle rinser. So the home owners can serve and wash their cups at the penisular without having to go into the wet kitchen. They find this very convenient when the air-con is turned on, the the sliding door to the wet kitchen is kept shut to prevent cool air from leaking into the kitchen.

Reno@TY III Maisonette | Staircase Storage

For maisonettes, there are many ways to design and have access to the low headroom area underneath. We have done quite a few, ranging from deep pull out drawers, swing doors with internal carpentry and also the most common way - just a simple door.

For TY III Maisonette, we used a combination of both door and internal compartmentation using carpentry. So from the photo you see above, the front area has a combination of drawers and open shelves with swing door to hide all these away. Behind the built carpentry is more storage area for large and long bulky items and to be accessed from the door on the right.

Just posted some lovely sneak peeks on our recently completed Maisonette at Toh Yi. It was completed last year Dec 2019 and finally we managed to secure a weekend to take photos as we were all waiting in anticipation for the sofa to arrive!!!
