I couldn't resist and bought more gold coloured flower decorations for my vase. I hope they will look awesome when I put my flowers together since I have not taken any classes on flower arrangement. Just going to give it a go.

Home@432B | one last look at my christmas tree before they take it away

 

In case you are wondering where I bought my LIVE christmas tree, it is purchased from Far East Flora (FEF) And no, it is not a a sponsored tree although I wished it was, since it is my first christmas live tree ever!

Just wanted to share with everyone that there is a limited period to call up for them to dispose the tree and so, please keep track! hahaha...i kept reminding hubs to remember to call the florist to ask them to come and dispose the tree, but he kept wanting to keep it longer. We missed the period to be honest but fortunately FEF is quite nice, they said since we are only late by a few days, they will still dispose it for us.

ahhh...I will miss my first christmas tree!! now looking at it, it has browned quite a lot ever since it came home.

Today I went to ikea and bought home a new ikea entrance floor mat - rainbow!

Besides doing ID as a day to day job, hubs like to cycle! He cycles every Tuesday. And when there is a good offer online, he buys an old brompton, refurbish it, clean it over weekends and resell them. Sometimes he couldn't bear to sell them!!! hahaha....

My new cushion haul this lunar new year, the rectangular ones located on the lonesome armchairs.

It reads (literally) big prosperity and everyday make money!

The lionhead cushion covers are bought last year, the pompoms on the lion's noses do come off after washing, because of loose threads, so need to sew them tightly on. The matching orange and turquiose cushions are so happened that I have them! The orange one is from Ikea while the turquiose one, I really can't remember how I got it.

Above: Closer look at my lionhead cushions. The backdrop paper craft was done last year CNY and I couldn't bear to throw them away after spending several nights folding the paper. So I kept it and re-use it again this year. Some of the paper are from red packets, which had the lovely gold and flowery prints.

Above: Another new cushion cover for this year CNY!! it reads Prosperity!!! Love this one, but it sheds red threads....and pardon me, I'm so excited to start using my newly arrived cushion covers that I have yet to keep my christmas decor. (behind on the ledge is my mini christmas tree!)
