The recent COVID situation has caused so much delay, lack of manpower and increased hike in material costs. With the on and off social distancing measures, stricter enforcement on gathering sizes, it is so difficult to arrange home photoshoots.

Here are some homes which we have completed the last half year and never got to take proper home photos. We would like to take this opportunity to thank our home owners for being patient with us as we take longer then usual times to arrange work for touch-ups, last minute additional work and remaining defects.

Finally we could get a proper shot of the entrance hallway with the timber cladded bay window. For the longest time, this hallway was covered with protective cardboard paper so we couldn't take any photos of it.

Trending at the moment is this beautifully timber strip cladding by the side of the kitchen counter.

Now I want to show you all the beautiful kitchen backsplash that looks like cement and stone at the same time. It is a sintered stone in short. Very very pretty. See photo below for zoom in. If I ever sell my current place and shift to a new place, for my new kitchen, I will definitely use this!

carpentry for the common bathroom is installed already! So close to the finish line now.

The whole team is rushing to finish everything this weekend for the home owners to shift in.

During post COVID, renovation is really tough in getting workers since many of our regular workers were handcraftsmen from malaysia. 

 

For this 3 bedder condominium, we took about 2.5 months to complete. Hacking works took almost a month due to manpower, limiting hours of a condominium, and the usage of 1 lift for reno works. So glad it all turned out quite well, of course with some hiccups here and there.

See the beautiful barn door on the right of the wall? Sigh, because all of our barn doors are customised and are fabricated and delivered to Singapore, there's a slight delay in the fabrication. What's worse, we are rushing to hand over our project to our client as they are staying in a rented apartment, so we asked our carpenter to make a barn door, and he has never made such a huge door before. He is a carpenter, doors made are usually the cupboard sizes, he made a mistake. He only added the diagonal timber strips on one side of a door!!! *slap forehead*
