Reno@Bishan Maisonette - Almost there now

Most of the carpentry is up now and the existing railing has been removed. The formwork for the new glass railing is up with the integrated lights. The threads have been sand down and varnished. Although the whole place is still in somewhat a mess but most of the works have been completed. The glazing works are also on site and some have been installed over the week.

 

closer look at the staircase curb. See the little circular holes by the side? They are for the lights. 

Storage area under the stairs. We are going to have some simple cupboards under the stairs. And because the staircase width is rather deep, it will be quite difficult to access the storage items if we were to do the cupboards all the way in. So we are having the cupboards done at only half the depth so that there's still another "store room" behind the cupboards to store bulky items which you don't need to take very often.

 The TV feature wall is up too!
