added a wall shelf and pegboard for the kids' room.
The Wall shelf that is pretty similar to the string bookshelf is from Ezbuy and the pegboard is from IKEA.

Brought the kids to our new place because the reno works will continue after the Christmas New Year period and because there's some outstanding carpentry work and touch up, we are here to stick newspapers and plastic bags onto our kitchen pendant lights.

Yup. better to prevent dust collection then have to clean later.

Reno@432B - Dry Lay Marble

it was a really exciting to experience someone getting such a huge slab of marble for you to choose! I've done dry lay for my clients but I haven't had the chance myself!!! So it's really exhilarating for me that it's finally my turn. Even the boys were amazing to see how the marble is being transported from place to another.

 hello saturday!

Brought the kiddos to visit the reno site. My left eye still suffering from inflammation, so have to wear glasses for a very long time...and the dust at the reno site is making my eyes watery.

 Feature wall grouted. painted and looking so pretty now!
Jade is afraid to come down to walk cos she doesn't want to get her shoes dirtied.

All the electrical sockets are flushed to the wall. We haven't decided whether to put the Eubiq track here, but seeing that the sockets are all lined up neatly, my bet is that we wouldn't be putting the track here....

the vinyl flooring may be new but it is super dusty!!! Told them boys to not sit on the floor, but they never listen.... somemore can play until lying all over each other. I really "roll eyeballs" at them.

The boys are here because the school holidays have started and they are very very bored at home. So hubs and I decided to bring them out to visit our site for the weekend afternoon. Hubs and I are thinking of enrolling both of them for swimming lessons to kill their time off. Not sure how it will help us since someone will need to bring them there and back....*thinking hard*

Children are so adorable, they say the darnest things but sometimes I also want to yell my head off at them... >.<

Home@Stirling - Shifting our dining table to make room for another room!

 Yes we are in another home makeover again.

Just like what hubs' friends who visit us once or twice a year, they always say that our home is forever changing! We are in the midst of a transition period. Once our baby arrives, the confinement nanny will have to shift to our helper's room which means our helper has no where to sleep unless we put a bunk bed in the room. However we both decided to give our helper another room on her own so that she can have enough rest in the night without the baby disturbing her and also to let her have her own privacy.

So the dining table has to go! Anyway it's not that we are throwing away our dining table, just making some minor adjustments in our little 3 room flat. So we have cleared our dining table and dining chairs.

James in the "moving" mood, shifting his little chairs around the house while hubs and my helper are shifting the dining table and chairs.
