Late evening

Decided to take a photo to show everyone my slowly but growing potted plant collection.

The two cute little gnomes were brought from our old home at Stirling.

Couldn't bear to throw them away although they are very worn off.

I think they looked very at home now...

don't you think so?

Definitely spark joy for me when I see them "guarding"or "greeting" our folks coming home.

I'm still trying to style my dresser...and don't really know where to start from!

My initial thoughts would be that things might just probably manifest by itself or due to my shopping habits, this dresser would be in time to come, look more like "me".

A very nice combination with medium grey floor tiles.

Love the contrast of a black main door against white washed walls.

Simple and effective. If you have an existing main door like this, panelled and somewhat old fashioned. A good paint work will definitely bring out the best for this design.

see how I organise my wine glasses.

I bought wine glass holders from Ezbuy and had hubs installed in one of our tall cupboards, next to our wine fridge. Now I find it so convenient to open a bottle and have my wine glasses right next to me when I have guests around.

Makes things easier and merrier!

I'm super happy at how my whole entrance door, corridor and main gate have all turned out. I'm really grateful that we managed to use back the original door and door frame, at least that saved us a bit of money! We re-laminated the main door, added V grooves painted in black, installed the electronic look and long door handle. As for the door frame, we painted it black. On both sides of the main door, there were small 2 wood door panels which we removed and replaced it with clear glass.
