This home reno started so fast that I didn't even had the time to post any introduction on it. Will back post once I find some spare time... The home owners came to us 2 months ago, somewhere in August and we did up the design for them in the month of September and now reno has started in October!

hello!
we are into approx the 4th week of our home reno. It's still pretty much a warzone, dusty and dirty. BUT! things are beginning to take shape! I'm so excited that all my sentences are ending with an exclamation mark!!!

hahaha.

above: water pipes one up and one down. Something seems to be a little off, but it's ok! can be cut off and trimmed back to equal height.

 although this unit has started 1 week behind 432B, but it has catched up and running parallel!

Many thanks to the home owner who had to take time off to request for urgent electricity and water turn on, if not all this would not have been possible.

so folks, before all home reno commence, remember to apply for electricity and water turn on!

Reno@432B - screeding

this old flat had many uneven floor surfaces and punctured holes as there were many different overlays. Now that all the old flooring has been torn away, this uneven flooring became more apparent. And because we are planning to overlay vinyl flooring, some parts have to be screed over to try to level up with the existing terrazzo flooring.

Home@Stirling - Goodbye

we sold our place and are moving out of Stirling today.

Goodbye to our 1st home and all the wonderful memories we had.

Reno@432B - Hollowblock walls

 most of the hollowblock walls are up. Leaving the dry wall partition next.

 above: master bath wall. This used to be the utility bathroom.

above: The old walls, beams and ceiling had the popcorn spotty look which we have plastered over. Now all the existing walls have a smooth finish to it.

above: some of the rooms starting to take form. Not very enclosed yet, but once the dry walls start to come in, you probably will see more spaces taking shape.
