a tactile experience.
come. walk with us!
The entrance proper - a very modern simplistic black gate versus the wainscoting looking door with an old fashioned door handle. The floors are finished in a raw cement screed bordering a monochrome peranankan tiles, adding much visual simulation to the eyes. Drawing lesser attention, the shoe cabinet is done up with an overall black frame with lourved doors for the much needed ventilation that is required.
The dining area was crafted out from an in between space. The big challenge at the start was the many flying beams across this space and the need to close up the kitchen yet maintaining its visual connectivity. To create a nordic look, white washed wood flooring coupled with brick texture wall, white and neutral tones were kept in mind throughout the entire conceptualization of the design.
a grey accent wall creates an anchor for the eyes.
