Reno@Kim Tian - Partition works completed

Kitchen backsplash completed.
Keeping all the existing tiles to save cost since the carpentry will hide all the tiles.
Here's a closer look at the kitchen backsplash wall tiles. The couple has chosen the "flat" kind of subway tiles. There are 2 kinds in the market currently. One is bevelled while the other one is flat.
here's another view of the kitchen backsplash.
All the electrical powerpoints are installed too/

Going into the AV room which is adjoining to the master room.
AV room light holder completed. The other day, the guy was still plastering up the light holder.
See the patchy purple wall? That's more plastering up before the painting works comes in.
Master bedroom - ready for painting works.

Master bath false ceiling completed and we have boxed up almost all the water pipes where we possibly can.
Pelmet area above the shower cubicle. See a pipe coming down from the false ceiling? That's for the rainshower head.

For the study area, under the beam (top right of photo above), we are having a 350mm thick see through bookshelf but the existing beam is only 300mm thick so we have asked the partition works guy to "thicken" the beam so that the bookshelf can tuck nicely under the beam instead of protruding out.
view out into the living area from the study room.
Main entrance door. There were lots of electrical cabling going back to the DB here but we have boxed up the ceiling partially so that it will look neater. See the pretty DB box?
here's a close up on the db box.
