Tile grid ceiling all ripped off, carpet and vinyl flooring out too...the bathroom walls and tiles are hacked off too. Sink and toilet bowls taken out too. All the existing aircon trunking and compressors are removed too. My contractor says the reno will take some time cos the lift here is small so it takes really long to bring all the debris down to the truck...
But there are 2 lifts in this development uncle...
contractor says they are only allowed to use one lift....oh i see.
above: struck gold! No...we found terrazo flooring!!! but unfortunately not at the place where we want. So we are just going to overlay it, also contractor says the glue from the vinyl flooring has "eaten" into the terrazo flooring and so no matter how much he polish, it will have yellow marks.
eh...still have some more air-con pipes left to clear....apparently the aircon contractor hasn't finished his work yet.
so much red bricks to clear.... and it's been a week already and we still haven't finished hacking and removing all the unwanted stuff. Looks like it will take another week to clear everything out of this place!
OMG. so much air-con piping left on the ceiling.
