This is one of those "different" type of HDBs where you have a balcony that has a view out to the lift lobby and it is double volume. What we did was to build a new roof over this indoor balcony and added new walls and it became a new room!

it was no easy feat as there were many regulations, permits and submissions that was needed to be made. So the reno prolonged for the longest time just to get the roof approval from many agencies.

We are just really happy that we obtained all the approvals and managed to complete the reno.
