Here are some updates for the Yishun 4 room flat. We have gotten our HDB approval for the hacking works and all the hacking works are completed already. Very little hacking works is involved for this flat as it is a new BTO flat, the living and bedroom floor tiles are not provided so there's no need to hack anything on the floor. What we did here is to hack a small opening between dining and kitchen to allow some light into the kitchen and another small hack between the yard and kitchen. Again to allow more light into the kitchen.

Above: we did a small opening between the yard and kitchen so we will have a symmetrical window opening on both sides of the bi-fold door.

Above: we hacked away bedroom 2's door and wall. This will become the walk-in wardrobe cum study area. Erection of wall is in progress. Today we sort of settled all the final electric requirements for the flat as well as the carpentry works. Hopefully it will go full steam within this week!

haha...can't help but post some photos of my son here. He's having a real swell time playing with the pile of sand!
electric works are going to start tomorrow, followed by the tiling works!
